Where was James located? I have rumors of Minnesota people who came down from Canada. My Ransom came over about the time of the war of 1812 and lived in Oswegatchie, St. Lawrence, New York. He lived with Bromaghim family who were Loyalists. He later married Mary Bromaghim.
