    1. Re: [CTNEWLON-L] ?'s abt certificates and newpapers
    2. The closest Marriage license I can find in my files at the moment is from 1880. It lists: Full Name of Groom Place of Residence Age in years Occupation Place of Birth Condition (single, divorced, widowed) Color Nationality of Parents Full Name of Bride Maiden Name, if Widow Place of Residence Age in years Occupation Place of Birth Condition (single, divorced, widowed) Color Nationality of Parents Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I think I may have addressed my first email wrong. So I apologize in advance if this is a repeat. 1. What information is on a 1858 marriage license issued in Groton for a Pawcatuck church. I have the cert from the church with the witnesses listed. Would the town license have more info i.e. birth place, parents etc? 2. I have a date of death for possible grandparents buried in St. Michael's pawcatuck cemetery. What newspaper would I look to first for a possible obit? Chrissie "The secret to friendship is being a good listener - Unknown"
