I have also come across CHAPMAN. It takes a lot of looking in Cemeteries, in Borbour Marriage Records, and the HALE Cemetary Inscriptions. Chapman and his brother George C. Chapman. Henry was born on Aug. 19, 1825 in CT. George was born about 1830. According to all the census records I have found for the two of them, their parents were also born in CT. Henry married Lydia E. Wheeler on August 12, 1849 and George married Lydia's sister Celia on August 31, 1851. I have not been able to find any information before the 1850 Census when Henry was married to Lydia, and George lived with them as well as Lydia's mother, Nancy Wheeler, her sisters Celia and Louisa and her brother John. Her father died in August of 1849. They were living in Stonington. Any pointers you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Joyce Ahern
