Perhaps one way to ease relations with Vital Records New Haven is to leave requests for copies ( $$ and a SASE) rather than have them stop at the end of the 2 1/2 hours and make the copies. I have made a template ofr all records and fill them in when I am there. This gives me the information on the spot. I have never understood why the system must be so user-unfriendly.
