I'm getting ready to take the plunge into ordering microfilms from the FHC here and I was wondering - are the films for Passanger Manifests worth the effort? I see on some of the indexes that the referrences have a film number associated with it- what is actually on the film that isnt included in the index. For example here is one of mine I found: Cornelius Lang found in: Passenger and Immigration Lists: New York, 1820-1850 Age: 6 m Gender: M Country of Origin: Scotland Country of Destination: United States of America Ship Name: Ship Camillunited States Port of Arrival: New York Date of Arrival: May 9, 1827 Microfilm Serial Number: M237 Microfilm Roll Number: 9 List Number: 227 Anyone have any experience with this to tell me what extras I may find to see if it is worth the time? I cant think of anything but maybe there is a whole lot more that isnt included in the indexes? Thank you all so much!! -Grace
