I am in search of Margaret C. Welch. It seems that her life events were centered in New Haven County, but I have failed to pin point which town. She was born on Sept 26, 1865 and married John J. Pratt in 1896. She had a daughter (Mary Irene Pratt) born April 5, 1897 before moving to NJ some time before August 1899. I also wonder if "Autograph Books" were popular in the late 1880s and early 1890s. Her book is from Sept 1887 to Feb 1893, and of the more that 90 entries, most are from Birmingham (now Derby), Bridgeport, New Haven and Shelton Connecticut. The most frequent names are Beeman, Carroll, Costigan, Flynn, Kelly, McCabe, Murphy and Nugent. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I will also share any information in Grandma's book, but be forewarned that the names in her book are like the Ivory Snow commercial. 99-44/100 pure-------Irish Thanks, Bill
