    1. [CTNEWHAV] Look-Up offer - Meriden High School class of 1924
    2. Sending you all holiday greetings on a snowy afternoon in Connecticut! Since December is traditionally a month of giving, I thought it would be a nice idea for those of us that have any type of documents/sources which might be of genealogical value to others volunteer to do look-ups for each other. If you do, and if you wish to volunteer, please post your offer to the list. I have a 1924 Meriden High School yearbook which I will gladly look people up in. I picked it up at a yard sale awhile ago. It's really interesting to read the blurbs written about each classmate, for instance: Jennie Panas: "Jennie had charge of the library many afternoons, but she also had many other troubles". Marjorie Bradford: "Marjorie got plenty attention from the superior male sex and we can't say we blame anyone for paying attention to her". Gertrude Penfield: "Gert is another one of our plump classmates". Eileen Kennedy: "Eileen's aim has to been to run as many people in the school as possible. She tried every method but, we fear, didn't employ tact!" Bernard Kochanowski: "Bernie is the little fellow who thinks he is so important". I also have a picture of a young girl that is labeled "Antoinette Welch" on the back, which I bought (For a dollar) at a yard sale in Meriden...probably early 1900s. If anyone has Antoinette in their family tree, let me know, and I'll send the picture. Hope you all have a safe & wonderful holiday! Robin List Administrator CTNEWHAV (New Haven County, Connecticut)

    2. Bernard Singer
    3. Hi Could you look up the name Senger or Singer in the yearbook? My father and his siblings were born in Meriden and they could be in High School at this time. Thank You Bernie CTNewHavenCounty@aol.com wrote: Sending you all holiday greetings on a snowy afternoon in Connecticut!
