Hi, "cousin" Kevin. Your Aaron Smith was first cousin of my Elihu, your Peter and my Nathan were brothers. I have searched "Genealogy Library" and "Family and Local Histories" at Genealogy.com, and the NEHGS site In "Families of Ancient New Haven," I find Olive (wid. Aaron Smith) married as the second wife to John Alsop Talmadge. I found Samuel Lewis, too, and wife Hannah Rew, dau. of Hezekiah, with dau. Olive, b. Dec. 10, 1749, (but no marriage) in "The town and city of Waterbury, Connecticut : from the aboriginal period to the year eighteen hundred and ninety-five," New Haven: Price & Lee, 1896, 2413 pgs. At NEHGS, I found a Hezekiah RUE and daughter Hannah in MILFORD, with Hannah b. 7 August 1723. Is it possible that your Olive married in Milford at "granny's house?" That happened sometimes when grandparents were alive but unable to travel... And that's it. At least you now know where the information "isn't."
