I am hoping someone might be able to help me attach Olive Lewis, who married Aaron Smith, to some parents. Aaron was said to be "of Bethany". They married about 1772. Aaron was born 3 Oct. 1745, son of Peter Smith. I found an Olive Lewis born 10 Dec. 1749 in Waterbury, which seems to be quite close to Bethany. She was the d/o Samuel Lewis and Hannah Rew (or Row). Aaron was a doctor, and died in 1778. Whether this was war related, I have never been able to find out. The couple had 3 children, Eli, Olive, and Hannah, who married Eliphalet Hotchkiss and are my ancestors. Any help appreciated. Mahalo and take care, Kevin
