On 1870 Census and then disappeared. Have all info on SMITH's; looking for CRAWFORD's.Think I have them coming into St. John on the "James Redden" in 1850. How did they get to Connecticut? 2) Currence DOWN(E)S b 1 Nov 1773 Southbury CT d 3 May 1810 Scipio NY. Wife of John BOUGHTON whom she m 1793 (?). Have searched and searched and can find no mention of her anywhere. Suggestions please. What info I have is from Bouton/Boughton genealogy which is not very reliable. Looking for parents.
