Mu brickwall is Dennis A. Johnson, my gg-grandfather. He was born in Guilford, CT in 1819 and later married Hester Bates in 1845 in Monticello, Sullivan Co., NY. He served in the 143rd NY Volunteer Infantry and was killed near Aversboro,NC in March of 1865. I've had no luck finding his parents' names. Hopefully this will ring a bell with someone.
