    3. Hopefully, this is an appropriate "mystery" for the list: The Honesdale Citizen, a newpaper in Honesdale, Wayne County, PA published the following Death Notice on 14 Oct 1869: "Watts -- Cheshire, Conn. (30th nit.?) at the residence of her father, Matthew Curnow, Esq., Katie W., wife of Graham Watts, of Honesdale, Pa., aged 27 years 3 months 26 days." Graham Watts b. 22 Dec 1843 and the only Graham Watts in Honesdale at that time, lived in Honesdale most of his life. Except from Dec 1861 to Jul 1865, when he served with Company C of the 67th Regiment of the Pennsylvania Volunteers, he can be accounted for in Honesdale until his death in 1921. Honesdale research has not yielded any information of a marrriage before 2 May 1871, when Graham Watts married Emma Rogers, also of Honesdale. The obituary of Graham Watts said "he was married three times", yet only two marriages, one to Emma and, much later, to Elizatheth Shupper, can be accounted for. Questions: Was there a Matthew Curnow, Esq. in Cheshire in 1869? Did he have a daughter, Katie W., who died, and was married to Graham Watts of Honesdale, PA? Any insight you may have for me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks... Liz
