I had a tearcher in abt 35rd grade who was a Miss VanSlyke. I also have a picture of her with the class. It was in abt 1937/8 in Freewater, Umatilla Co. Ore the old Sandstone School ,not in use now. I lived there then. I supose the census of 1930, Freewater , or may have her full name. She was not married as we called her Miss.
