Kim - I was just up in New Haven and visited St. Bernard. While there I saw stones from the 1850s. The stones from that era add a weath off information (name of deceased, b., d., county and sometimes town of bith in Ireland!) To make a long answer short - Yes, St. Bernard was opened by 1874. Remember you need to call St. Lawrence Cemetery for information on St. Bernard. Good luck in your search! Divina
Thanks. Divina. Now if St Lawrence would just be a little more cooperative...or even helpful.
