The St. Bernard's Cemetery is part of the Archdiocese of Hartford. I would suggest that everyone contact them regarding the difficulties getting information from St Bernard/St. Lawrence Cemetery office since the Archdiocese oversees both cemeteries. Another suggestion to send to the Archdiocese would be that someone - or a few - qualified genealogists - be permitted to microfilm/xerox/copy in some way, the records which are there, for everyone's use. It could be done on a volunteer basis. (Wonder if LDS would do it?) I have been to the cemetery office on several occasions and have found the information I needed. However, I was not able to obtain copies of the records. I had to write the information down. I was even most willing to pay for any copies I wanted. No luck!
