I have a marriage record that says my Alfred lasker was boen in Union City, CT. I have contacted both the Union city and the Union librarians and havent found any records but it was so long ago that now I am confused about what "Union City" means. I think there is one in New Haven County and then one elsewhere. Can anyone lend me some insight? Alfred Lasker was born in 1888 to Pius and Mary Lasker, although I am not sure if they were using their shortened "Lasker" name yet and I am unsure its root word. The fmaily is Lithuanina/Russian.
