    3. I found it under the newspaper collection at ancestry.com. Here is some of my Ranslow line: George Washington Ranslow + Emmeline R. Leonard > Louis Clifford Ranslow + Mary Lynn > Edward James Ranslow + Annie Laura Gillette > Clinton Henry Ranslow + Pearl Lucille Hallock. Based on census reports the Clifford mentioned in the article was brother to Edward James and they were born in Massachusetts. I was wondering knowing what requirements to become a voter might tell me about him and by default the family. As far as the surname REGAN a quick search returned 314 matches in the databases for the following newspapers: Bridgeport Post, The (Bridgeport, Connecticut) 59; Bridgeport Sunday Post (Bridgeport, Connecticut) 18; Bridgeport Sunday Post, The (Bridgeport, Connecticut) 11; Bridgeport Telegram, The (Bridgeport, Connecticut) 203 and Naugatuck Daily News (Naugatuck, Connecticut) 23. I say this because many immigrants were in Naugatuck at that time and I am sure being naturalized would be a factor. Having said that, may I ask for a lookup on the list? Or perhaps you could tell us how to find it. I am looking for information on Edward, Thomas, or Patrick Regan (sometimes spelled Reagan). I would appreciate any assistance. 3. Thanks for the response, Dow. I am afraid I can't help with the Ranslow name....I checked some of my own resources and did not find any info. Hopefully, someone else can help you, with the name and more data on the voter requirements. Also, many thanks for the Regan info....now it makes me wonder just who the heck were all these Regan's? I will certainly check into it. Good Luck and have fun! Margaret Dow <dow.graham@cox.net> wrote: I found it under the newspaper collection at ancestry.com.
