> How about posting your most elusive Connecticut ancestor to the list? John Moran b abt 1853 Ireland, d 6/9/1918 New Haven, m Katherine Clyne,12/29/1884 New Haven. He was a blacksmith. I think his mother was Catherine b 1818. But am willing to be proved wrong. His sons are James b 5/18/1893, John F. b 10/1885, Joseph J. b 12/21/1897 died 1981, Edward J. b abt 1888 died single 1954. Daughters are Mary b 10/10/1890 d 1923, C Agnes b 12/27/1897 (twin) d 1975. I would appreciate any info on ancestor or descendant. Because some of the children were sent to orphanages, when John became ill, the uncle and aunt I did know would not talk about the family. I would like to believe the illusive relatives might have info on their ancestors. All these births took place in New Haven. All death dates recorded, took place in one of the Haven's.
