Sue, In the following book, is there anything about the Austin or Shepard line under a Mary Ett RAY or (Mariette RAY) or her children, like Laura Newport RAY or a lady with the last name of RAUSCH? They went into the DAR until Eli AUSTIN's wife, Paulina SHEPARD, however the proofs must not have been conclusive enough to be included in the new DAR books, or they were no longer alive and no one followed up on it. It will be small enough so I can be mobile with a car attached, and can move from place to place. Unfortunately, this is not my husband's dream. I lived outside of San Francisco for 10 years prior to coming with my husband's job over 5 years ago. I miss home, although I miss Ohio the most, where I lived in the beginning. I'm 52 now. I have been interested in genealogy since I was 12. But I didn't begin researching until I was an adult. All the research was previously on my mother's side, but now I'm working on my Dad's side. I only wish he was alive today to see what I've found, which isn't a whole lot. What is the website URL for the CT Genealogical Society? Looks like I need to join. Sincerely, Kathy
