On the death certificate of my Edwin Minor Byington (born in North Branford May 24, 1845 and died in New Haven March 7, 1907) it states his parents are: Darling H. Byington born 1820ish in North Branford Martha Benton born 1818ish in North Branford I have followed Martha through the census and have this information: 1850: North Branford Darling age 31 Martha age 32 Edwin Minor age 5 Charles age 3 months (he died as an infant i believe) 1860: North Branford Darling age 40 Martha age 42 Edwin age 15 Ellen age 8 Mary J. age 4 Caroline age 2 Abigail Byington age 73 (*maybe* Darling's mother) 1870: New Haven, 7th Ward Martha age 52 Ellen age 18 Jennie M. age 14 Carrie age 12 Mary Benton age 63 (so cool now this name makes sense!!) Diantha Page age 57 1880: New Haven Martha age 62 Edwin Minor age 35 Harriett (Dudley) Edwin's wife age 28 Caroline age 22 Ellen age 28 Mary J. age 24 Frederick Richard (Edwin and Harrietl's son) age 2 Mary (Edwin and Harriett's daughter) age 5 Then thats all I have of her so maybe she died after 1880.
