Hi Grace, Can you tell us if there are any Brandford/New Haven historical records as far back as 1765? My Knowlton g-g-g-g-grandfather was born in Brandford in that year, but we have never been able to locate any records of his parents, siblings, relatives, etc. Any guidance would be gratefully accepted. Although I am not too schooled about what records are available, I do know the Barbour Collection for Branford goes that far back and even further - 1644 - 1850, so that means, as far as I am able to understand, they have those records available at town hall or the historical society. Hope this helps! -Grace > Hi Grace, > > Can you tell us if there are any Brandford/New Haven historical records as > far back as 1765? Hi Bill & Loydean, What was your gggg grandfather's name? Do you know his wife's name? I have access to Genealogies of Connecticut Families and it has some info on the Knowlton's from that time period. -Sue ----- Original Message ----- From: "W. D.
