I'm looking for info on my grandmother's dad, Edgar Van Buren Ives, b. 1839. He is in the 1900 Ct/Rhode Island census supposedly. I know his daughter Ethel Florence Ives, lived in Meriden, but I canfind no reference to Edgar in any Meriden history books..lots tho' about John, John Jr., Titus..his ancestors. Can someone point me in the direction of MEriden History or genealogy sources. Thanks so muc. Edgar is elusive.
