    3. No, Barb, I've not run across your Bronsons.. Mine are most likely originally from England, if I can get her placed in the family correctly.. I'm most convinced she is an undocumented daughter of Abel Blakeslee Bronson and Elizabeth Mallory, but I've not found the evidence. Grace, thank you very much! Not finding her there is actually GOOD news.. Her headstone was most difficult to read, I've been told, and place of birth was translated as being either North Haven or New Haven, and "perhaps" eliminating North Haven, leaves the rest of the county open. Abel B. Bronson moved back and forth from New Haven and Litchfield Cos. (1800 New Haven, 1810 Roxbury, Litchfield), and the census information indicates one more female child than is documented, and a there is a eerie similiarity of names in Anice's children, and Abel B's. Thanks again, --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!? Send your FREE holiday greetings online at Yahoo! Greetings.

    3. James, In Newtown I found: Gideon Bennett died July 1824 Nancy of Newtown married Nathan L Jackson of Trumbull, Oct 14, 1838 by Rev Rodney Rossiter, of Monroe. There are a ton of them in Newtown. I couldnt find any children for Nancy and Nathan under Jackson in the records nor anything else for Gideon. -Grace > Grace, > Would you please check for Gideon Bennett and Nancy M. 1. [CTNEWHAV] TIMMONS in Milford 1830s
    2. Lise Doss
    3. Hello, Is there anyone with access to Milford vital records who could do a lookup for me? Archibald TIMMONS married Eliza F. somebody, probably in Milford in the late 1820s-1831. He was a silver plater and they had children William W. b. 1831, Margaret E. b. 1840 and Daniel L. b. 1847. I have been looking for a marriage record for them for about 3 years and have not been able to find anything in the 2 Texas libraries I can access. Would really appreciate the help. I have a friend who is writing a college-level U.S. history textbook, and wants to make the Depression real to students who use the textbook. My friend is a professor of history at the University of Connecticut; has contributed to other books; has written magazine articles; is a Lincoln scholar; and has authored a book on the Korean War. 3. Searching for further information on my husband's YOUNG family - William & Emily, who lived in Milford, Connecticut, at the time of the 1880 census (and probably prior to and up to around the 1890s, when they removed to Westboro, MA). William and his 7 sons were all dyers in straw & hat factories. Two of the daughters, Fannie and Edith, married and lived in the Milford area at least up to 1934. Fannie married a man named GARDNER, and Edith married a man named WOODBURY. Any help would be appreciated. June

    1. [CTNEWHAV] Viola Endicott (nee Hobro) obit, etc (New Haven)

    3. I'm looking for the obit for Viola Selena Endicott (nee Hobro) in an effort to eventually track down her children. Of course, any other information on this family would be much appreciated!! Here's what I have: Viola Selena Hobro Born: Nov 18 (maybe 19) 1892, New Haven, CT Died: Feb 1978, East Haven, CT at 85 years old. According to her application for a SS number (dated May 6 1943), her parents are Charles Hillman Hobro and Edit Maude Hopper. She lived at 387 First Ave, West Haven, CT. I believe she married John L. Endicott (who died 2 Jan 1958 in Hamden) and they had a daughter Ottillie. Note that the name was originally spelled Indicott, but on her SS application, Viola spells it "Endicott." His parents were Edwin LeRoy Indicott and Corabelle Porter. I hope to track down Ottillie since she is my 1C1R and her children would be my cousins. Can anyone help me on this one? Thanks!
