He was an original founder of Haddam, CT. m. Mehitable SPENCER b. 1638/42 Lynn, Essex, MA, d. 1691 Haddam, Middlesex, CT. She was the daughter of Gerard SPENCER and Hannah HILLS. Caleb CONE, Capt. b. 1679 Haddam..., d. Sept. 28, 1743 Haddam... m. Elizabeth d. Nov. 14 1714 Joseph CONE b. Jan. 26, 1704, Haddam..., d. 1779 Haddam... m. Susannah WELLS I have SPENCERs going way back into England. Does anyone have similiar information?
