Here's one of my puzzles - John Tryon of Middletown - the father of Mary Tryon who supposedly married Ruben(5) Clark - b 1735 - (Pealtiah(4), William(3), Joseph(2), William(1) emigrant ancestor & Haddam founder). In various publications, I have found Ruben's wife listed as Mary Shedy and Mary Bennet, but the autobiography of Ruben's grandson, Dr. John Alonzo Clark, gave her name as Mary Tryon.
