I am searching for anything . . . any tid bit . . . about John Karr who m. Dorothy Hale at Portland Church 29 Apr 1744. They remained in Middletown and had a number of children. I have some information on Dorothy from Jacobus' Hale, House and Related Families. They removed to Ashfield, MA by at least 1777. John Karr died in Plainfield, MA in 1803 at 94 years of age. I would be most appreciative of any item. I will be in CT in June for one day to research John Karr and Dorothy Hale. Would it be best to go to Middletown or is there an archives or library elsewhere that would be a better place to go to do research? Thank you!
