Need info on descendants of Josiah Pelton who moved to NW Territory in 1800. Seeking info regarding his activities during the Revolutionary War. His brother Ithamar owned ships and he was a ships carpenter. Are there records of ships used in the war (privateer) and those who built them? Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
