Which port is the likely point of arrival for a ship sailing from Glasgow if the ultimate destination of an immigrant or passenger was Middletown? New London or New Haven were established ports by then, I believe, but were they likely for immigration purposes? James CRAIG came from Glasgow in 1850 or 1851. His family followed in 1851, he made at least one trip back to Scotland by about 1869 and a niece came to stay with the family for all of 1884.
