I am looking for information on Capt. James N. Russell of Haddam, CT. He is buried in the Haddam Cemetery. His date of birth is 6/5/1840 and his date of death is 6/30/1896. His wife was Josephine C. Clark, d.o.b. 12/28/1843; d.o.d. 6/20/1908. He is listed on the 1880 federal census as the son-in-law of Herman Clark of Haddam, CT. He is listed on this census as being 37, but if he was born in 1840, as his cemetery stone claims, than one of these dates is incorrect. Any information on either of these families would be greatly appreciated. Alison
