However, James' line is not followed further. Daniel married February 1763 at Haddam to Demas MORSE. Whose daughter is she? Could Demas be a corruption of Damaris? James and brother Daniel (the younger) moved c. 1793 to Westmoreland, Oneida Co., NY and their sister Rachel and husband Benjamin CONE moved to Chenango Co., NY. James and Rachel's families moved on c. 1818+ to Athens Co., OH. Seeking to prove the Athens Co., OH James STERLING is identical to the Haddam, Middlesex Co., CT James STERLING. Linda K.
