Hello friends. These are the CT surnames I am most interested in at present. I have specifiied geographic areas as well. I look forward to hearing from cousins and allied families. SQUIRE(S): All descendants of immigrant George who arrived at Fairfield from Concord, MA in 1644. Removed to New Milford in early 19th century. Removed to North Haven in early 20th century. BROCKETT: All descendants of immigrant John, one of the founders of New Haven. Especially seeking information regarding Hezekiah (son of Moses, who lived Hamden and married Mehitabel Candee), Justus T. (son of Hezekiah) and Justus T. (son of the first Justus T.) RANSBOTHAN: This family had a homestead in Riverton as of the late 1800s. Their 1904 family Bible spells the surname Ransbothan. However, this appears to be a non-traditional spelling. Variations are Ramsbotham and Ramsbottom. This is my most difficult family to research. ROBINSON: Of North Haven. Particularly interested in the wive's of Brocketts. SOMERS: Of Brrokfied in the mid- to late 1800s. HUNGERFORD: All descendants of immigrant Thomas. Thanks. Robert squires >
