Abigail's parents are Samuel and Abigial Gunn Riggs. Rev. Benjamin was the minister for 16 years for the Southington Congregational Church. He graduated Princeton (College of New Jersey) in 1754 and received a Honorary Degree from Yale in 1761. He was a friend of Aaron Burr. His children: Abigial R., Roswell Riggs, Sarah, Clarissa, Benjamin, Pamela (Parmela?) Samuel and Levi.
