I go through the line as follows: >Thomas Carrier(born in Wales 1629) and Martha Allen(hung as a witch in Salem in 1692) >Richard Carrier (born 19 Jul 1674, died 11 Nov 1749) married Elizabeth SESSIONS(born 24 Apr, 1672, Died 6 Mar 1703/4) >John Carrier (born 16 Mar 1696/97, died 1 Mar 1745/46 in Siege of Cape Breton) married Mary BROWN(born 29 Dec 1696, died ?) >Titus Carrier (born 23 Aug 1733, died 26 Jul 1796 Crown Point Exp., 1755; Rev War service, ref DAR patriots page 116) married Mercy COOK(born 17 Feb 1744/45, died 8 May 1819) >Titus Carrier (born 24 Jul 1781, Died 3 Nov 1848) married Mehitable WATROUS(born May 20 1786, died 6 Dec 1876) >John Carrier (b ? d?) married Adeline CHILDS >John A. Carrier (born 7 Feb, 1855, Died ? ) Married Caroline SIMPSON (born ? Died ?) >Alfred Brainard Carrier Sr (born 12 Jul 1882, died 27 May 1958) married Florence COOPER (born 5 Mar 1888, died 7 Mar 1952) >Alfred Brainard Carrier Jr (born 16 Oct 1916, died 29 Dec 1957) married Elizabeth Ethel Dey( born 22 Dec 1922, still living) and then my mom. So what I am looking for is any information on the wives lineage. I know that Mehitable Watrous is a descendant of Jacob Watrous/Waterhouse, one of the original Saybrook Colony founders.In that respect I am looking for any information further back from Jacob Watrous/Waterhouse (his ancestors) Also, Elizabeth Sessions is descended from the Spoffords, which has been pretty solidly traced back to the tenth century. In addition, Caroline Simpson is the daughter of Captain Edward M Simpson and Harriet Johnson, so any information further back from that would be helpful Is Mercy Cook related to Capt. James Cook? I have no information back from her And what about Childs? Anyway, I will take anything concerning any one of the families on my list above! Also, does anyone know who Thomas' parents were? I know that is Wales, but I remain ever hopeful! I know the one side of Martha Allen is Ingalls, but I would like to know how it traces back in ENgland.I send many thanks for any information that anyone can provide on any of this information!
