Levi Watson Clark was b abt 1835 in Middletown, eldest child of Seth and Julia (Clark) Clark of Middletown CT. He m Mary E Clark in Middletown 13Aug1854. I have a copy of a letter to his mother dated March 31st 1857 from Wabaunsee KT from the handwriting, but mentions "heer I am knocking about in the rich fertile planes of Kansas." From the general tone I think his wife died as he mentions "wommen are as scarce out heer as White Cows...". Intend to do 1860 census when I can get to a facility.
