Hi Jane, My first LEE, great grandfatherJabez LEE, came to American about 1866, born 1847 in Devonshire England. Have him in the 1870 US census in Springfield, MA, later in Meriden, CT for most of his life until his death in 1915. My grandfather Jabez LEE, Jr. born in Meriden, CT, 1873, died Cromwell 1948. My great great grandfather may be an Edward LEE born about 1802, Buckfastleigh, Devonshire. Not confirmed. Any of your LEEs come from Devonshire?
