I searched through the Litchfield Co. marriage records that Ray Brown has on his AHGP site http://www.rootsweb.com/~ctlitch2/ and found the following: New Hartford, [Litchfield Co.] CT Marriages as found in Early Connecticut Marriages by Frederick Bailey 1743 to 1794 New Hartford incorporated in October, 1738. The First Congregational Church was organized in 1738. Rev. Jonathan Marsh, pastor 1739-1794. Joseph King of Middletown & Jerusha Marsh my daughter - - - Sept 31, 1765 (sic) John Marsh, Jr. & Anna Cale (?) Of Middletown - - - Aug 18, 1791 Ray has the Bailey records on line for all the towns, but these are the only ones where the bride or groom were identified as being from a town in Middlesex Co.
