Hi Listers, Old Saybrook is in Middlesex county. It was once a part of the Saybrook colony, until 1854.The Old Saybrook Town Clerk's office has BMD records 1859-present and earlier records may be found in Deep River. The probate records are July 1850-present, but earlier records are as follows 1666-1719, New London or New Haven, 1719-1780 in Guilford, 1780-1853 in Chester, 1853-1859 in Essex.
