Hello Listers, Does any one know if actual burial records exist for the Mortimer Cemetery in Middletown, and if so where they can be found? My 'Brick Wall' is Jabez Hall, whose daughter, Mary, married Allen Gilbert in Middletown on 25 Jun 1782. I can find no other information on Jabez, but feel that he may be the Capt. Jabez Hall, d. July 4, 1797, age 59 yrs., buried in Mortimer Cemetery and his wife might be the the Hall listed as, Hall, (stone all crumbled & footstone). Allen and Mary Gilbert later moved to Orwell, Oswego Co., NY where they both died in 1840. I would appreciate any information that anyone could offer! Joe klaudi
