    2. Zelotes CLARK was b. 4 Jun 1747 in Haddam. He m. Elizabeth HARRIS in Killingworth on 1 Sep 1778; Elizabeth b. 1758, pr. in Chester. Zelotes was a Revolutionary War veteran, Connecticut Continental Line, and listed in the DAR and SAR archives. He later removed to Summit county, Ohio, died in 1834, and is buried in Locust Grove Cemetery, Twinsburg, OH. Ancestry of Zelotes is my biggest brick wall. Anyone have anything that can steer me to the parents of Zelotes Clark? Ray Downing Las Vegas, NV

Ray, I found the following in the Saybrook records: Zelotes Clark & Huldah L Tryon m. 28 Jun 1828 - Notes: Zelotes Clark of Twinsburg Ohio In the 1790 census of Saybrook: Clark , Zelotes - Saybrook , Page 457 In the 1810 census of Killingworth: Clark , Zelotes , Killingworth , Page 350 In the marriages at the 2nd Church of Killingworth: Zelotes Clark & Elisabeth Harris m. 1 Sep 1778 by Rev. William Seward But no sign of his birth or parents in any of the records I've been able to find to date.
