Thank you Mark! We live in the State of Michigan, but I can check this out long distance........as its good lead! I found the Barbour Collection online MANY thanks to Jane.....And yet we have another question: There is a Volume IX of the Barbour Collection that contains records from Durham from 1708-1852 does this book contain the same information as is currently online? If not, is there someone who can look into the index in that particular volume to see if any information is listed in this book relative to Allen/Hannah Stevens? Thanks........and we keep on diggin!
