Janece Streig is continuing her work on the Saybrook Land Records and Book 1, pages 81 to 100, are now on line. These records include early deeds, family records (births, marriages, deaths), cattle marks, land divisions and other information about the settlement in its earliest years. For those of you researching New London Co., just next door to Middlesex, Janece is also working on transcribing the history of the county and chapter 18, Biographies (in two parts because of the length) is now also on line.
