My Johnson Genealogy reference, which I believe to be pretty accurate, lists Joshua Johnson (1/8/1788?-10/11/1849) as being the son of Stephen Johnson (7/8/1740- 1801); the grandson of Stephen Johnson (2/8/1714-2/2/1796); and the great-grandson of Isaac Johnson (12/19/1670-3/23/1744). Joshua Johnson married Experience Tibbals, daughter of Eber and Sarah (Wilcox) Tibbals. She was born 3/1/1781. Her death date is unknown. It states in my book "After Joshua's death in 1849, his widow probably removed to Michigan with some of her children, about 1858. There were 13 children. They were in Jefferson Co., N.Y. in 1820.
