    3. Charlene, I am wondering if the Johnson genealogy you refer to has any connection to Johnsons in Rhode Island. I have a Philip Johnson, b.1822 in Marion County, Ohio. I suspect his family may have gone from RI or CT to Ohio, and for some reason the family -- or at least my ancestor Philip -- came back here to Coventry, RI. Philip's father was also a Philip, who married Priscilla Nichols. I believe there are two previous generations of Ezekiels, either in Ohio, CT, or RI. Any of this sound familiar? Joshua Johnson married Experience Tibbals, daughter of Eber and Sarah (Wilcox) Tibbals. She was born 3/1/1781. Her death date is unknown. It states in my book "After Joshua's death in 1849, his widow probably removed to Michigan with some of her children, about 1858. There were 13 children. They were in Jefferson Co., N.Y. in 1820. In 1824, they went to Ohio." If you are interested in purchasing the genealogy book on the Johnsons, let me know. Hope this helps.
