I am doing some research for someone in MN who was so kind to do research for me in MN. She has names and death dates for her family in Manchester and Hartford. I got the State # from Ancestry.com for the death records. Where do I go from here? Does the library in Hartford have death certificates or do I go to the town clerk at Mancehster and Hartford (most died 1980's). Does the Courant or other local papers have archived obits and where do I find them? Once I find out how to do this, I can also research my wife's side from Cromwell & Middletown.
