I am descended from Deacon Apollos Arnold, also, but I found most of my information on his children in the Connecticut State Library -- Book 26, Connecticut Church Records; East Hampton Church (formerly Chatham) 1748-1930; published in 1936 by the Connecticut State Library. I have attached a word document concerning Apollos and his family. Records of the First Congregational Church in Chatham (which became East Hampton in 1915)list the birth, baptism, marriage, and/or deaths of 10 children for Deacon Apollos and Lucy (Bill) Arnold. Joseph may be connected to Ebenezer and Gideon Hall who lived in Chatham at the same time. There was an Abner in Chatham in 1800 as well, which is a name Joseph and Nancy gave to one of their sons.
