    2. Janet, Since you know that Louise died in Middletown, for $5.00 you can get a photocopy of her death certificate. Contact the town clerk at [email protected] for specific directions. Some of the family information you are seeking should be on Louise's death certificate. If you know where your grandmother Grace died you should be able to get her death certificate from that town. My paternal grandmother also died in the 1918 fu epidemic. Her death certificate gave me the date and location of her birth, the names of her parents and their birthplaces. , and where my greatgrandparents were living in 1918 as he father gave the information for the death certificate. Not that "Canada" gave me much help. My grandparents Connecticut license gave me the name of the town and the Canadian province in which my grandmother was from.
