Sharon Marriage records have been kept in Connecticut since the late mid to late 1600's by law. All vital records (birth, death, marriage) are kept by the individual towns. You get the record by contacting the town clerk for directions and the fee charged. Birth records are closed for 100 years from the date of birth. For modern record there are set fees. I don't know how it works for older records from the 16, 17 and 1800's. Each town is a bit different.
