Hi Lin, I was intrigued by your message about Nathaniel BACON who moved from Middletown, CT to Lanesboro, MA and then to Ballston Spa. I have an ancestor, Hiel SAVAGE, who did the same thing in that same time frame. He was b. in 1759 in Middletown, moved to Lanesboro and served in the Revolution from there, and was in Ballston Spa in the 1790 census. I, too, would like to know why he moved to those places, and is it coincidence that both familes followed the same route? He would have been the same age as the BACON children you listed on your message. Are we on to something here? Barbara
