I am trying to find my great, great, great grandfather, Avery Brown; his wife's first name is Clarissa. My great, great grandfather was Avery Brown and from his death certificate and census records, he was born in 1800 in CT; he is buried in MI. The Avery Brown Sr in Norwalk is eliminated - his wife's first name is Betty. The Avery Brown Sr of Stonnington is eliminated because his son, Avery, is buried in the same cemetery in Chenango Co., NY. There was an Avery Brown listed in the 1810 census for Groton but is this the Avery Brown of Stonington or Norwalk? I sure would like to know as he is a potential.
