    1. Re: [CTMID] Saybrook Land Records - Book 1, Pages 181-200
    2. >Do you have any land records on John Molyneux in the 1800 in Old Saybrook, >Connecticut? Jane, I have given to Jane Devlin all the deeds that I copied off and transcribed from the Saybrook Land Records. The copies I have made were from various films that I had ordered through my local Family History Library which had been previously filmed in Connecticut. Beside the pages that we transcribed and Jane posted as Book 1 (which was every page, but not the complete Book 1) the other deeds from various other books were only copied for my family lines. I will go back and copy off the rest of the pages to complete Book 1 later in the winter. I do not know how far in dates this first Book goes. As you can see from the page transcriptions, there may be a deed from 1684 and then ear marks from 1743 on the same page?! These lines I did copy from various Saybrook Books were CARTER, CHALKER, WRIGHT, POST, SPENCER and SMITH. I do not have a complete index listing for the Saybrook deeds--only those family lines listed above. As Jane mentioned in her e-mail, check back periodically on the site to see "what's new" because perhaps someone else will get that film and transcribe some deeds for inclusion on Jane's site. Sorry that I could not be more help to you. If you would like the film numbers that I got the indexes from, e-mail me directly and I will provide them.
